PRESIDENT OBAMA GETS COUNTRY
The Obama campaign has released their official soundtrack which will play during President Barack Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign rallies.
It seems the President has somewhat of a country streak in him, as many country music artists were listed.
The track listing includes Sugarland’s “Stand Up” and “Everyday America,” along with Darius Rucker’s “This,” Zac Brown Band’s “Keep Me In Mind” and Dierks Bentley’s “Home.” Other artists on the roster include No Doubt, Arcade Fire, Aretha Franklin, Al Green and James Taylor.

RODNEY ATKINS CLEARED OF DOMESTIC ASSAULT CHARGES
Rodney Atkins has been cleared of a domestic assault charge in connection with an argument with his wife Tammy at their Nashville-area home.
A county judge ruled yesterday that the misdemeanor charge will be expunged from his record if he completes a series of court-ordered mandates.
On November 21
st, Tammy called police and claimed he had been drinking alcohol and allegedly smothered her with a pillow.

MIRANDA LAMBERT MAKES TV ACTING DEBUT TONIGHT
Miranda Lambert will make her acting debut tonight on a new episode of her favorite TV show Law & Order: SVU.
Miranda plays an actress who accuses a reality show producer of assault. With Miranda making her way to the small screen and her husband Blake Shelton starring on NBC’s The Voice, Miranda says she’s learning more about the pressures of fame more than ever before.

RANDY TRAVIS ARRESTED ON SUSPICION OF PUBLIC INTOXICATION
Randy Travis was arrested early Monday morning on a misdemeanor charge of suspicion of public intoxication after he was found with an open bottle of wine outside the First Baptist Church in Sanger, Texas.
According to the Dallas Morning News, he was booked at the Denton County Jail in nearby Denton, Texas, at 1:30AM, and released a few hours later. A sheriff's deputy told KXAS-TV in Dallas the arrest was made after a report of a suspicious vehicle was called into the local police department. Officers found him “smelling like alcohol and [he] had an open bottle of wine.”
Randy said in a release to Country Weekly, “I apologize for what resulted following an evening of celebrating the Super Bowl. I'm committed to being responsible and accountable, and apologize for my actions.”

COUNTRY HELPS KICK OFF SUPER BOWL XLVI
Country superstar Faith Hill launched the Super Bowl XLVI TV broadcast from Indianapolis with an opening sequence that featured a special version of the NFL on NBC theme. She taped the Super Bowl edition of the song in L.A. last month.
Before the game on Sunday, Blake Shelton and wife Miranda Lambert stood hand-in-hand on the field at Lucas Oil Stadium to perform a stirring rendition of “America the Beautiful.” Blake told his followers on Twitter that Patriots QB Tom Brady shouted, “I got your back” to him just before the performance. Miranda described the experience as “so cool” in a tweet immediately afterward.
Kelly Clarkson topped off the pre-game festivities with a flawless version of the national anthem.
